Humor In The Mix
Passing the time with laughter:
Onward
Last night my son and I watched this new Pixar movie. A chosen reprieve from the news, it was perfect and just what the doctor ordered! It’s about two teenage elf brothers on a quest to discover if magic is still left in the world. Packed with vibrant color, adventure, acknowledgment of the human connection and life’s complexities, it is indeed magical. Happily, Onward provided a peppy start to week #3 in isolation.

Heavy Cascade
When I painted this in 2017, my mother had become ill and I was feeling a heavy burden on my shoulders. Today, it’s ever more relevant with the cascading effects of all that’s happening; effects loaded with the gamut - illness, suffering, death, birth, love, kindness, compassion, individual and collective transformations, innovation, et cetera. In the midst of crisis there are always blessings and opportunities for evolvement.
