A description of me in former, key relationships - malleable - "easily influenced; pliable" and mutable - "liable to change." Keenly aware, I take responsibility for this behavior of altering my energy to accommodate others, namely birth family and X, that led to many unhappy moments wherein my "self" was camouflaged and diminished. I've lost good friends and many creative opportunities over the years as a result. This is no longer acceptable for me, and so I now move forward in my new life seeking fully aligned, supportive collaborations. I know who I am now and what I want. My intention is to thrive, lead a vibrant life and stay true to my purpose. I see the "Golden Doors" flinging open.

Using white oil crayon, in 2015 I created a series of works with these two words. Although indiscernible here, the color of this piece and the others is pure white and the layering is thick. The overall effect is very dense and lacy, a reminder of femininity and perhaps a wedding dress. Perfect, Tommy, Perfect!
